What this is

MYW Radar is an independent, non-commercial concept site exploring the 4D imaging radar chip category — the class of mmWave silicon that resolves range, azimuth, elevation and Doppler to build a dense point cloud of the world. It exists to explain the category clearly, at an industry level.

What this is not

  • It is not the site of any specific company, and names no organisation, founder, or team.
  • It advertises no shipping product, price, roadmap date, or availability.
  • It reports no benchmark, no customer, no partnership, and no funding.
  • It presents no proprietary specification as fact.
How to read the numbers. Where a figure appears — a frequency band, a count, a capability — it is either a widely-published, category-level fact (like the 76–81 GHz automotive band) or an illustration of the concept marked [示意/概念]. Nothing on this site should be read as a measured claim about a real product.

Why a concept site at all

4D imaging radar is one of the more consequential and least-explained pieces of the modern perception stack. A clean, honest, vendor-neutral explainer has value on its own — as a way to think through what the four dimensions mean, why the virtual array matters, and where the technology fits alongside cameras and lidar.

Editorial stance

The guiding rule here is simple: describe the category, never overstate it. Real engineering is hard, trade-offs are honest, and the parts that are difficult are named as difficult. If a claim can't be stated as a category-level fact or clearly flagged as illustrative, it isn't on this site.
